Library Move Management

If your firm is moving, we can manage the move of all your library materials and have the library ready for use by the time staff have moved and are ready to resume work. This can include:

  • Initial consulting to define your library needs in the new location, planning and layout for the efficient arrangement of materials
  • Prior to the move, purge out less useful materials, either returning materials to the reps or manufacturers or donating them to schools and recycling centers
  • Recommend packing methods
  • Recommend storage systems (shelving and other containers)
  • Pack (or supervise packing) materials to be moved, labeling each move container with “destination”
  • Unpack (or supervise unpacking) materials at the new location
